Palazzo Pianciatichi 12 October - 24 October in collaboration with Consiglio Regionale della Toscana the exibition will be open in the afternoon from 2.00 p.m until 6.00 p.m saturday from 9.00 a.m to 12 a.m
The work of Federigo Angeli (1891-1952) reveals an artistic spirit that not only reinvented the work of his own time, but to a certain extent became a forerunner of objective realism reintroduced in 1947 by the group "The Modern Realism Painters" who described it as a "never-ending and eternal source of painting."
Painting since the 1920s, Angeli's groundbreaking neo-Renaissance painting and restoration work masterfully demonstrates the time honored technique and intense luminosity of tempera.
