Tue, April 10, 2018 12:00 – 14:30 Visit to Villa Il Palmerino, the garden and the exhibition The Angeli Brothers. An Exportation of Style between Florence and America (1910-1960s), curated by Francesca Baldry. Located in the rooms of the historical Villa, it is a reconstruction of the Bottega of the painters, with some never-before-seen works, photographs and the sketches of the decorations of the four villas where the brothers worked in the 1920s in Florida and California, in Paris, and on the French Riviera. Meeting with the Angeli descendents, who still own the villa, to talk about the recent discoveries in the archives. (Event opened to NYU students and faculty only)
